The overall layout of this kitchen came together quickly but it was the finer details that required some further attention.

The feature piece of the finished result was also a focal point of the design and planning process and had to take into account the home owners desire to retain the existing fireplace and modify it to suit the new joinery and the appliances it now houses.

The patina of an old home built in 1906 also presented some challenges with regards to walls out of square and floors out of level. I was essential for us to overcome these without compromising the quality and high level of detail of the finished result.

Our client brief was to create a modern, well-functioning kitchen that is harmonious to the current style of the property.
